Bunny shaming.

Every once in a while, Simon tests the waters to see if thumping will get him attention.  This time, I obliged...just not in the way he expected me to.

  1. That's just hilarious, and mainly because Simon looks so darn cute!

    1. Aww, thanks--glad you liked it!

Simon's look of disappointment at not getting noogies and cuddles for his thumping efforts was hard to resist. He just doesn't seem to understand that thumpy bunnies don't get rewarded for it (especially when he does it just for attention). [sigh] It's a learning process! :)

    1. Oh, I feel for you!

Simon's worst thumping spree lasted over 4 months and was due to him having separation anxiety whenever he couldn't see where I was. For some reason, the little guy decided I was his sun and stars (instead of River, like we expected him to) and it took some tough love by ignoring the thumping and giving him the shirt off of my back for him to use as a security blanket for him to eventually (mostly) stop the thumping at night.

    1. They can really surprise you with the depth of feeling they show for certain people/other bunnies. They have their favorites and treat them accordingly. :)

  5. Hi Mónica!

Lol--It's entirely possible that Simon was giving us a stirring rendition of 'Bunny got back'!
